eweek-logo-sm

Both Exadel and Appery.io (our product) popped up in a recent article in eWEEK about codeless tools and platforms for mobile apps coming from “citizen developers.” Here’s the excerpt from the article.

Mobile app development environment provider Exadel’s Appery.io offers a cloud-based rapid development environment with integrated back-end services and a catalog of API plug-ins that simplify integration with cloud services and enterprise systems.

As part of its solution, Appery.io also features a no-code, RAD environment.

zagama

Our Appery.io product has experienced phenomenal growth lately as shown by these two key recently announced pieces of news:

  1. Expansion into the Asia/Pacific marketplace through a partnership with Zagama, a leading app development company in Asia, and, as part of this partnership, making the Appery.io cloud platform available as Appery.asia.
  2. We passed the 150,000 user mark! Congratulation to our 150,000th user, Min Choi, Senior Associate Designer at AXA.

Appery.io Now Has 100,000 Users

100000+

In case you missed it, Exadel CEO Fima Katz recently announced that our Appery.io Mobile App Platform has passed the 100,000-user mark:

We’re off to a great start thus far in 2014 – in fact, our growth has accelerated and recently surpassed 100,000 registered developers, representing a significant milestone for Appery.io and also for the development community…

Spotlight on Exadel Products for Enterprise Development

Exadel’s Appery.io and RESTXpress products provide complementary support for enterprise mobilization that continues to get more notice.

Appery.io provides a complete mobile app development, development, and support platform, while RESTXpress provides a REST service gateway to a growing variety of enterprise assets. One dramatically eases the development of apps to consume REST services; the other makes it relatively simple to produce REST services out of existing enterprise assets to be consumed. Together, they cover both ends of any enterprise mobilization strategy, allowing the best integrated solution. And, the word continues to spread… Read more »

Exadel Featuered in ZDNet for Mobile App Platform

Our recently announced partnership with Heroku (a subsidiary of Salesforce) has continued to attract attention…very positive attention. Recently, Exadel’s vice president of marketing, Francisco Kattan, and founder and CEO, Fima Katz, talked to Heather Clancy for a story featured in ZDNet last week. The article did a nice job of showing how the Appery.io mobile app platform came out of Exadel’s experience and where it’s going. It also describes how our mobile service offerings complement the platform while the platform continues to grow.

Exadel in the News: LOB Mobile Development

We were delighted to be mentioned prominently in this article about shifts in the control of enterprise mobile development:

Mobile Management Spurs Power Shift in the Enterprise — CIO.com

As discussed in the article, Salesforce is using Exadel’s Appery.io as part of a drive for promoting mobile development outside of IT in the line-of-business (LOB) units themselves. We’re quite proud to be part of this strategy; however, we look at this — not so much as an “overthrow” of a particular department — but simply as enabling more options inside enterprises for mobile development. In choosing among these options, different enterprises will require different mixes of IT vs. LOB ownership and of outsourced vs. in-house work based on company resources, organizational culture, business objectives, etc.

Because of our breadth of experience in mobile development, in particular, and enterprise development, in general, we can provide a full spectrum of services starting at the highest level with mobile strategy development. Depending on the mobile strategy for your company, we can do anything from Appery.io training for LOB units to large projects under the direction of IT. (Or, you can just use Appery.io for mobile development within an LOB unit.)

Exadel Just Got a Mobile Merit Award for Appery.io

MobileMerits_Winner

We won! Mobile Merit Awards recognizes excellence achieved in the global mobile industry each year. This year Exadel was recognized as the winner in the Mobile Services/Enterprise Product or Service category for our Appery.io mobile app platform.

For a while, we’ve noted the growing gap as the demand for mobile innovation in the enterprise outstrips the capabilities and capacity of IT organizations. Our Appery.io mobile app platform is just one example of how we are closing this gap. We also offer services to help organizations use Appery.io and, of course, a full gamut of enterprise software development services in addition to Appery.io-specific services.

Congratulation to our hard-working global product development team!

3 Enterprise Mobility Concerns: Timing, Integration, Security

As a result of conversations with our customers, we can tell that the biggest issues in enterprise mobility are:

  • Time-to-market
  • Back-end integration
  • Security of mobile apps Read more »
