JavaFX Messaging for Exadel Flamingo

To some, RIA (Rich In­ternet Ap­pli­ca­tions) is a myth, a tale of the past. People still have a hard time defining what it means ex­actly. What is true, though, is that an ex­plo­sive growth in client-​​side pre­sen­ta­tion tech­nolo­gies (Flash/​Flex, Sil­verlight, JavaFX) brought to life a new user ex­pe­ri­ence on a wide va­riety of com­puting de­vices.

In prac­tice, the classic JSF val­i­da­tion ap­proach usu­ally vi­o­lates DRY (Don’t Re­peat Your­self), since most “val­i­da­tion” ac­tu­ally en­forces con­straints that are part of the data model all the way down to the data­base schema de­f­i­n­i­tion. How­ever, Seam pro­vides sup­port for model-​​based con­straints de­fined using Hi­ber­nate Val­idator. More­over, you can use Hi­ber­nate Val­ida­tors for your bean to­gether with the data model.

Flamingo 1.8.2 Just Released

A new re­lease with sev­eral bug fixes is now avail­able for Ex­adel Flamingo to down­load.

This is an open source project de­vel­oped by Ex­adel en­gi­neers. It pro­vides the in­te­gra­tion “glue” for using rich user in­ter­face tech­nolo­gies (JavaFX or Flex) with Java Web ap­pli­ca­tion frame­works (Seam or Spring).
