We cur­rently offer demos for (JBoss) RichFaces and the Exadel M-​​Commerce Solution. We in­vented and con­tinue to de­velop RichFaces, so we are ex­perts in RichFaces. The Exadel M-​​Commerce Solution is a new product that we’re ex­cited about. It lever­ages Exadel Flamingo and our ex­per­tise in mo­bile com­merce from ser­vice engagements.

JSFdays2010 Coming Up Soon

Exadel’s Max Katz will be very busy at the up­coming JSFdays2010 /​ eJUGdays2010 con­fer­ence in Vienna, Austria. This is an an­nual in­ter­na­tional con­fer­ence cov­ering JavaServer Faces (JSF) and re­lated tech­nolo­gies. This year it runs from February 23 to February 25 in the city that pro­vided the back­drop for The Third Man.

Joint Webcast (11/​17) with Terracotta on Hibernate

Next week, we’ll be doing a pair of we­b­casts with Terracotta on “Hibernate Performance and Scalability Out of the Box.” There will be two sep­a­rate live we­b­casts of the same ma­te­rial on November 17th at 11 am and at 11 pm (Pacific time).

Seam Validation on the Fly

In prac­tice, the classic JSF val­i­da­tion ap­proach usu­ally vi­o­lates DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself), since most “val­i­da­tion” ac­tu­ally en­forces con­straints that are part of the data model all the way down to the data­base schema de­f­i­n­i­tion. However, Seam pro­vides sup­port for model-​​based con­straints de­fined using Hibernate Validator. Moreover, you can use Hibernate Validators for your bean to­gether with the data model.
