  2. The management team page has been updated with information about our new Vice President of Marketing, Francisco Kattan. You’ll hear more from Exadel in the coming weeks about this exciting addition to our management team.

We were excited when Deltina Hay used our Tiggzi mobile development platform to demonstrate some of the principles in her recent book, The Bootstrapper’s Guide to the Mobile Web. Recently, we found out about another great offering from Deltina. Read more »

 HTML5 Frameworks and Exadel

The Silicon Valley HTML5 Users Group is dedicated to exploring HTML5 and its role as part of an overall modern approach to Web UI development including JavaScript and CSS. Not only does HTML5 include many new tags, its adoption also involves greater attention to the DOM and API making JavaScript even more powerful. But, one area where the potent combination of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS has really shined has been in the area of mobile Web apps. Read more »

Paul Anthony, owner of Webdistortion.com, has published a review of Tiggr Mobile Apps Builder on his popular Web design blog. Webdistortion.com is a young and innovative Web design studio based in Northern Ireland that develops innovative Web design solutions for a range of small to medium enterprises. Working with iOS and SOAP

At Exadel we have a lot of experience with mobile development. One thing that comes up in our work in this area is the occasional necessity to communicate with services using SOAP. To do this, we need to generate Objective-C source code from a WSDL document. In this article, I’ll describe some utilities for this and then how to resolve some issues that come up in using these code generators. Read more »

Exadel Webinar on Mobile Development Choices — Nov. 4

Webinar: Mobile Development Choices: Native vs. Web
Thu, Nov 4, 2010 11:00 AM — 12:00 PM PDT

We’ve had a lot of experience at Exadel helping companies decide how to approach development for mobile. There are two basic approaches involved. In one, you develop an app for each type of mobile device you want to target. In another, you rely on the Web browser in the mobile device and set up your application on your server to work with the generic browser. As you can imagine, there are good and bad things about either approach.

The purpose of this webinar is to get down further into the details of how you would make a decision like this. And, there’s still time to register for this webinar.
