Tiggr Mobile Apps Builder is con­stantly adding fea­tures, but next year, in January, Tiggr will be making some major qual­i­ta­tive leaps. To help roll out these changes, we’ll be hosting a se­ries of we­bi­nars to ed­u­cate our com­mu­nity. A lot of the height at­tained by Tiggr Mobile Apps Builder as a mo­bile de­vel­op­ment plat­form comes from “standing on the shoul­ders of Giants.” One of those Giants is PhoneGap. Article Looks at Mobile Prototyping in Tiggr

Exadel’s Tiggr Mobile Apps Builder, as you can see in the name, is usu­ally thought of as a plat­form for cre­ating com­plete mo­bile apps, but it also has a lot of use­ful­ness as a mo­bile pro­to­typing tool. In the ar­ticle, “Innovative Features in Tiggr Mobile Apps Builder,” on the UX Movement blog (cov­ering UI and user ex­pe­ri­ence is­sues), Exadel’s Max Katz ex­plains how to use Tiggr as a rapid pro­to­typing tool. These are the key pro­to­typing fea­tures de­tailed in the article:

  • Dragging and drop­ping com­po­nents in a vi­sual editor
  • Assigning ac­tions to com­po­nent events
  • Publishing the pro­to­type to view from any­where at any point in the de­sign process
