Everyone is af­fected by in­flu­ence. We use in­flu­ence tech­niques in our everyday lives and don’t even no­tice. In order to be ef­fec­tive in the market today, you have to un­der­stand how in­flu­ence drives con­sumer be­havior in order to at­tract not just con­sumers, but loyal consumers.

In this ar­ticle, we’ll rely on the well-​​known book, Influence (by Robert B. Cialdini), for its model of spe­cific in­flu­ences. For each in­flu­ence tech­nique, we’ll talk about how it can af­fect con­sumer be­havior in an m-​​commerce context.

As an­nounced in our “Open Source Meets Mobile” we­binar on Tuesday, we’ve cre­ated a fork in the de­vel­op­ment of Exadel Flamingo. This slimmed down 2.1.1 ver­sion is tar­geted to Android de­vel­opers. It also mi­grates Flamingo over to Maven 2.2.1. You can down­load Exadel Flamingo for Android 2.1.1 from our site now.

In pro­moting our so­lu­tions and ser­vices, we offer po­ten­tial cus­tomers the op­por­tu­nity to sign up on our Web site for per­sonal on­line demos pro­vided by our staff.

We cur­rently offer demos for (JBoss) RichFaces and the Exadel M-​​Commerce Solution. We in­vented and con­tinue to de­velop RichFaces, so we are ex­perts in RichFaces. The Exadel M-​​Commerce Solution is a new product that we’re ex­cited about. It lever­ages Exadel Flamingo and our ex­per­tise in mo­bile com­merce from ser­vice engagements.
