The product direction for Exadel is to move more and more towards open source. From the beginning, our Exadel Flamingo product has always been open source in the sense of publishing the source code along with the binaries in releases. With Exadel JavaFX Plug-In for Eclipse, we are now moving further to a full open source model that includes opening up the development process and not just the code for each release.
To make the process of moving products to full open source easier, we’ve created a dot-org version of our Web site to host these projects:

There are several changes going on for Exadel JavaFX Studio. We’ve switched the name to:
Exadel JavaFX Plug-In for Eclipse
We’re still working on a new internal platform with full easy-to-use services for open source management to host our open source projects. The JavaFX Plug-In will be the first to go up on the new open source site, but in the meantime we are still developing it internally.
Today, we are releasing a version for download that adds support for hypertext navigation from the JavaFX source code editor to the Java class editor for classes referenced in the file. Hold on to the control key and class references become clickable links. There are also some bug fixes listed in the online release notes.

Exadel JavaFX Studio is an Eclipse plug-in that make it much easier to develop applications using JavaFX for the UI. We have released the binary for version 1.1.1. The revised documentation will be up on the Web tomorrow. Read more »
Come see us in booth 211 [map] at the 2009 JBoss World / Red Hat Summit starting tomorrow (9/1). We’ll be showcasing new developments in our Flamingo and JavaFX Studio projects, but we will also be talking about all of our product and service offerings. Also, Max Katz (along with Jay Balunas of JBoss) will be presenting a conference session on Thursday (5pm) titled Building Rich Internet Applications with RichFaces. Finally, we’ll have some extra printed DZone Refcardz for JBoss RichFaces available at our booth. See you there!
