We’ve recently posted a slide show for demonstrating the features of the iPhone client that works with our Exadel M-Commerce Solution, our great package based on Exadel Flamingo for “mobilizing” existing e-commerce functionality. It should help you get a much better idea of the iPhone client’s capabilities without having to download an actual app. Just go here and log in:

In promoting our solutions and services, we offer potential customers the opportunity to sign up on our Web site for personal online demos provided by our staff.
We currently offer demos for (JBoss) RichFaces and the Exadel M-Commerce Solution. We invented and continue to develop RichFaces, so we are experts in RichFaces. The Exadel M-Commerce Solution is a new product that we’re excited about. It leverages Exadel Flamingo and our expertise in mobile commerce from service engagements.
The actual process for setting up a demo like this is pretty straightforward. Read more »
I was excited to attend this year’s EclipseCon on Wednesday (March 24) in Santa Clara, California. TheServerSide is hosting another Java Symposium this year. It will run from March 17 to March 19 in Las Vegas. Of course, you knew this already from regularly checking our calendar. (Our calendar would also show that Exadel’s Max Katz will be doing 2 sessions.)
As the TheServerSide points out, it’s during difficult turbulent times that these sorts of information-sharing events become so important for developers–at the same time resources to attend events is much tighter. We can help a little by offering our discount code. To redeem this special offer, register online with the code FRIENDOFSPKR and you’ll automatically save $200. (Yes, you can still register.) In the process of adding a link to our latest webinar on our webinars page, I noticed we’ve compiled quite a list of webinars over the last year. Next week, we’ll be doing a pair of webcasts with Terracotta on “Hibernate Performance and Scalability Out of the Box.” There will be two separate live webcasts of the same material on November 17th at 11 am and at 11 pm (Pacific time).
This is a new format for us at Exadel. We’re really looking forward to seeing how it works.
Max Katz from Exadel will be presenting a case study on how Exadel helped a B2C client revamp their help desk and customer service UI with JBoss RichFaces, Terracotta for Hibernate, Terracotta’s Ehcache, and SOA techniques. Read more »
On September 2nd, 2009, Exadel held a webinar with Elastic Path and Oracle titled “Case Study: An Integration of Oracle Middleware and an Ecommerce Solution.” If you missed out on this great webinar, you can now access the recording (after logging into the Exadel site).
Stay tuned for news of future collaborative webinars.
Ingres will be presenting at JBoss World / Red Hat Summit on the role of open source in social networking and cloud computing. Exadel will be co-presenting with Ingres for the cloud computing presentation at JBoss World. Fima Katz (Exadel) and Steve Shine (Ingres) will look at how Open Source and the Cloud, particularly the Ingres Development Stack for JBoss (Ingres, JBoss, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux), can be used to write Java applications with significantly lower deployment costs.
