UPDATE: Exadel and Actuate Webinar on JSF + RichFaces + BIRT
The webcast with Actuate to show the jsf4birt JSF component library went quite well despite a couple of minor glitches. The component library itself is available now for download from this page (yes, really):
http://www.exadel.com/web/portal/download/jsf4birt
It’s a free binary download under an included license for now, but we will probably switch it to some form of open source very soon. Stay tuned to the download page for any changes.
At the webcast, we ran out of time for questions, but Max and Virgil will put together a document with answers to all questions from the webinar. Links to this answer document and to the recording of the webcast will be sent out in a follow-up e-mail to all registrants by the end of next week.
Thanks to everyone who could come and to Virgil Dodson and Max Katz for squeezing so much information into so little time!

Both Virgil and Max are bloggers — of course. Virgil Dodson blogs on the BIRT Exchange blog. Max Katz has his own blog.

Our friends at Actuate/BIRT Exchange are working on a proper hosting of files from the Feb. 9 webcast. In the meantime, we have uploaded the finished application Max Katz developed online as part of his presentation on using the BIRT wrapper. It’s a hefty 50Mb WAR file. (45Mb is BIRT files.) The application will give you a good idea of jsf4birt in action.

Hi,
I could not attend this useful webinar due to some urgency at my end. I would have loved to be part of it though. Anyway, do you plan to put up recording of the webinar somewhere for people like me? I would request you do so that people like me, who could not attend, and still want to get the info will be benefited.
Regards,
